Vaishali Shadangule's journey with fashion started with the revival of weaves. She feels if Chanderi is one fabric, then there are so many villages in India with their unique weaves. A follower of slow fashion, she believes in recycling textiles. India is among the biggest manufacturers of textiles and apparel in the world supplying to leading international brands, but till some time ago, Indian weaves and weavers failed to get their due recognition. Vaishali says, "I want to bring Indian weaves on the international platform."
