The girl's family reported that she was abducted on July 9 after she stepped outside to fill water from a hand pump near her house.
According to officials, the incident occurred in West Bengal’s Purba Bardhaman district
A case under various provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act was registered after the girl's mother petitioned the chief minister and the state police chief.
Police have launched an investigation in the case
After a case was registered on Sunday, the four accused including the Asha worker were arrested while the hunt is on for the fifth culprit
The minor girl was playing outside her house in a slum area when three men abducted her and took her to an isolated place near an over bridge in the area.
The incident occurred on Monday night and an FIR was registered on Wednesday after which both the accused were held, police said.
Peter Pan Syndrome is a condition which causes an adult to behave immaturely. The syndrome affects both men and women.
The court had convicted Anil earlier on April 28 in the case of the rape and murder of a 16-year-old schoolgirl.
The girl has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination
The sexual exploitation of the minor girl by her teachers came to light a few days back when she had to be taken to a hospital by her father following her complaints of stomach pain
The victim lodged a police complaint on Wednesday following which the accused were arrested
The accused has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in Palghar district, officials aid adding that the victim is 13 years old
The incident occurred on Friday in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, officials said.
Baberu Station House Officer (SHO) Bhaskar Mishra said the girl went missing from home on Sunday, following which her parents started searching for her.
The key accused woman, who lives in the girl's neighbourhood, was addicted to drugs and apparently used the teenager to earn money to meet her needs.
The incident came to light after the minor’s mother lodged a complaint with the police on Tuesday, officials said.
