They say Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government's move to dump Amaravati as the only capital and develop Visakhapatnam and Kurnool as administrative and judicial capitals dashed their hopes of a bright future after giving away 33,000 acres of land.

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly on Wednesday passed the AP Cinemas (Regulation) (Amendment) Bill 2021, paving the way for an online movie ticketing system to be administered by the state government. The government said the amendment would help the government regulate cinema ticket pricing and check exploitation of moviegoers.
